Hi! I’m Kylene Beshore and I am excited to continue being a part of the Wims community for the start of my 12th year teaching!  I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade again.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Elon University and my Master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maryland.

I have a husband, Jeff, and a 9 year old daughter, Isla and and Bennett who is almost two that I love spending time with.  Isla will be going into fourth grade this year!

Before I became a teacher, I was a dolphin trainer in the Florida Keys sharing my love of dolphins with guests, while educating them about ocean conservation. I also worked with stingrays, sea turtles, sharks, and fish at Walt Disney World's "The Seas with Nemo and Friends" in EPCOT!  I love Disney and have visited the parks almost every year since I was 14.

In my spare time I love to dance.  I have been dancing since I was 3 years old and still continue to take classes and teach at the studio I grew up in.  My favorite type of dance is tap, but I also like hip-hop and jazz.
