Hey everyone! My name is Ryan Walker and I am so excited to be teaching fifth grade this year. In fact, during my 16 years of teaching, I have taught fifth grade almost every year. Do you want to know why? Because fifth grade is the best grade!!

I was born in Denver, Colorado (go Broncos!!) and moved to Maryland when I was in elementary school (go Orioles!!) I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education and my masters degree in instructional technology from the University of Maryland. When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my wife (she is also a teacher) and my two sons, who are four and two. I also love playing and watching pretty much every sport.
